What makes Yojoa Day Camp unique?

Yojoa Day Camp brings an American style summer camp theme to the UK with hands on interactive and fun activities. We support the learning and personal development of our campers and they will leave having tried new things, gained new friendships and pushed themselves out of their comfort zone.

Where is Yojoa Day Camp located?

We are located at St Ninian’s R C Primary school,12 Dochart Terrace, Dundee DD2 4EX.

How do I contact my child during camp?

During camp if there is any reason that you may need to contact your child you can call the Camp Director on 07934682365 and we will forward on the message once they have finished their current activity. In an emergency we will get your child from their activity and put them on the phone straight away.

How to I secure a place for my child?

To secure your child’s place you must first complete the online registration form. We will then ask for a one off £30 non-refundable deposit to secure your child’s place. Finally, we will ask you to fill out a medical form to make sure that we are aware of any necessary requirements or past injuries.

What is your cancellation policy?

Once booked, if a child does not attend on the day for any reason, you will still be charged for this place. If you wish to cancel the place altogether, notice in writing is required by March 23rd to receive a refund. Cancellations after this
date will lose full payment *Please

What type of activities do you have?

Campers can participate in our exciting and fun activities, such as sports like capture the flag, Alaskan baseball and football, arts and crafts like friendship bracelets and tie-dye making and all-camp activities such as our Messy Olympics, Crazy wheels and our amazing Colour War to end the week in style.

What times are you open?

For all campers Yojoa Day camp runs from 9am-5pm Mon-Fri. However, we do provide an early drop-off option that allows your child to come to camp from 8am-5pm for just £2 extra per day.

What happens when I drop my child off?

Upon arrival we will sign your child in and give them a name badge for the day. We may discuss further details regarding collection in the case that someone else is collecting your child. We will also make sure that all the necessary documents have been received prior to your child participating in the day’s activities. Your child will then be led down to the rest of the group by a member of staff to begin the fun activities.

Do you charge for late pick-ups?

After 5pm, a £5 charge per 15 minutes will occur to cover the additional staffing cost. Please contact the Camp Director as soon as possible to inform them that you will be late. This cost is within reason.

Do you provide lunch?

At Yojoa Day Camp food is not provided, so it is important that every child has a packed lunch that will keep them healthy and energised for the fun activities of the day.

How do you ensure the safety of your campers?

At Yojoa Day Camp we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all children during their time with us. Every child has their own individual needs and our staff will make sure to provide the support and guidance needed for your child. Staff will receive safeguarding training before they start at camp, to make sure they have the suitable knowledge to deal with any situation that may arise on camp. At Yojoa Day Camp we promote a feeling of community and support for one another, which allows our campers to feel safe and free to be themselves.
